Will alcohol be served?
To comply with venue regulations, we will be serving beer, wine, malt beverages, champagne, and champagne punch.
We kindly ask that guests do not bring outside alcohol or other substances onto the premises.

Can I smoke?
Smoking of cigarettes, cigars, and nicotine vapes is permitted outside the building. Please dispose of the butts in the appropriate containers. Smoking of anything else is strictly prohibited by venue regulations.
Will there be any cultural traditions?
Yes, there will be a money dance to recognize Devon’s heritage. There will also be a “jumping the broom” during the ceremony to recognize Chris’ heritage. It should all be fun!
What is a money dance?
This is just a traditional time where guest are invited to “pay” for a special dance with either the bride or groom. Whoever chooses to participate pins any amount of monetary bill(s) on the bride or groom. No more than 30 seconds per guest is allotted and they are typically dancing to well known ballads.
What kind of food will be served?
Cocktail hour: Bruschetta and Spinach artichoke dip with crostini bread.
Dinner: Spaghetti with meat sauce, Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, Green Salad, Dinner Rolls with butter.
Desserts: A variety of sweets
Late night snack: Ramen soup bar
What is Jumping the Broom?
It marks the beginning of making a home together. It symbolizes the sweeping away of the old and the welcoming of the new; the sweeping away all negative energy, making way for all things that are good to come into your lives. It is also a call of support for the marriage from the entire community of family and friends.
